About a month ago, on February 7th 2013, the 3rd phase family and Long Island skate scene lost one of its most beloved sons’, a wonderful friend, and an amazing skateboarder. Matt Bell Jr was taken from this world too young, at the age of 18, from a heart ailment. This was a rough time for all that were lucky enough to know Matt.
This Saturday, March 23rd, there is a benefit for Matt at House of Vans in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Family, friends and the skateboarding community will come together and celebrate Matt’s life the way he would have wanted it- at the skatepark!
The 3rd phase family will be in attendance to show our respect and love for our fallen brother. We have 25 hand matted prints to give out- be sure to grab one as quick as possible!
We will also have some sticker packs we will be giving out so be sure to keep your eyes open for those as well.
